Ever since the release of Taylor Swift’s fourth studio album RED, many fans have been asking and wondering where the 10-minute version of her song “All Too Well” is. When many fans discovered the reality of a 10-minute version of the song, we are sure Swift had no idea it would be talked about as much as it has been. Little do we know, she doesn’t have it anymore. Or does she?

Swift opened up to USA Today back when the album dropped about the track. She mentioned how it was the hardest one to write on the album, so much so that it turned into a 10-minute song. ““All Too Well” [was difficult to write emotionally] because it took me a really long time to filter through everything I wanted to put in the song without it being a 10-minute song, which you can’t put on an album. I wanted a story that could work in the form of a song and I called my co-writer Liz Rose and said, ‘Come over, we’ve gotta filter this down,’ and it took me a really long time to get it.”  Couldn’t she have just released the 10-minute version anyway? Probably not but fans want it and can you blame them?

The song is emotional, raw, and the epitome of perfect storytelling. It showcases what Swift can do in an effortless fashion. Fans fell in love with and they still are. “All Too Well” is a beautiful song and yes, all we want is the 10-minute version. Can you really blame us?

So where is it? Does the songstress have it stashed somewhere? After Swift went on a big Taylurking spree by commenting on several fans Instagram stories and joining in on their live videos, she finally answered the question.

A drawer? As in on a demo tape? Can we go lurk her house and find it? Or is it really in a drawer? We don’t know and maybe we will never know. But we can hope that maybe one day she’ll release it. That is if she still has it.
