Taylor Swift’s music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” has made YouTube history once again as it reaches 500 million views.

The music video has made history by becoming the most viewed music video on YouTube in a 24-hour time period. It received 43.2 million views, topping Adele’s  Vevo record with her song “Hello,” which had 27.7 million views. She also beat out Psy’s YouTube record of 36 million views in 24-hours with his song “Gentlemen”. “Look” was viewed at an average of 30,000 times per minute in the first 24 hours, with views reaching over 3 million per hour.

Now, as of October 2017, the music video has become the fastest video to hit 500 million views, which is equal to half a billion. “Look” is the 32nd most liked video on YouTube. What other records can Swift possibly break this era? We don’t know but we do know that she’s going to break a lot more.

“Look What You Made Me Do” was directed by Joseph Kahn (Bad Blood, Blank Space) and the track was produced by Swift’s friend and producer Jack Antanoff. With only being out for a month, the song and music video has topped more records than many artists can in a lifetime. Swift is on top her game and there is no doubt that her album reputation is going to be the most successful one yet.

reputation is set to hit stores and streaming services on November 10.
