New Taylor Swift music has finally been confirmed. However, the upcoming track isn’t for her new album. Instead, she will be featured on Kenny Chesney’s live album along with several others.

Rolling Stone confirmed the news with readers on August 15.

Below is an excerpt from their publication:

"“Live in No Shoes Nation opens, appropriately, with the boozy rock & roll strains of ‘Flora-Bama,’ an album cut originally from 2014’s The Big Revival, and its depiction of a real-life haven for followers of the ‘No Shoes’ ethos. Hits and album cuts follow, from ‘Summertime’ to the title track from 2010’s Hemingway’s Whiskey. Mixed in are a treasure trove of all-star collaborations, including a version of ‘Big Star’ with Taylor Swift, ‘When I See This Bar’ with Eric Church, ‘You and Tequila’ with Grace Potter and a cover of ‘Dust on the Bottle’ with its originator David Lee Murphy.”"

Taylor Swift has been working on her new album since last year

For the past year, Swift has been hard at work on her new music and all the while, she has been doing her best to stay out of the spotlight.

Swift has also been keeping her new romance with Joe Alwyn out of the spotlight.

When will Taylor Swift release a new album?

Swift has not yet revealed when her new album will be released but according to a report by Us Weekly, she’s aiming to release an album this fall.

“She’s continuing down the pop route, because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album,” the source explained. “She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there.”
