Katy Perry released “Swish, Swish” on Thursday and according to multiple reports, the song is a diss track aimed at Taylor Swift.

As fans will surely recall, Swift released “Bad Blood” in 2014 after her feud with Perry reportedly imploded. Although the singers were previously friends, Perry allegedly prompted a feud when she stole a number of Swift’s tour dancers. Perry also seemingly broke girl code when she began dating Swift’s ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, years after their relationship came to an end.

While there may not be any real way to confirm that Swift’s song was about Perry, or that Perry’s song was about Swift, a new report is calling out Perry for being a hypocrite.

What did Katy Perry say about ‘Bad Blood’?

Following the release of “Bad Blood,” Perry shared a tweet which seemed to slam Swift for attempting to take her down and put women against one another.

“Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument as one unmeasurably capitalizes o the take down of a woman,” she tweeted to no one in particular, as reported by Hollywood Life.

Ketty Perry is all about feminism?

“Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period end of story,” she recently told Entertainment Weekly.

However, as Hollywood Life pointed out, releasing a potential response diss track to Swift’s “Bad Blood” isn’t exactly helping women unite. It’s further dividing them, which is exactly what Perry claims she’s against.
